Top trainer Joseph O'Brien was hoisted onto the shoulders of a group of jubilant owners at Naas today.
The newly formed Blackrock Syndicate saw their first runner Arthurian Fame win the last race of the day by two lengths.
And the winning owners, all former students of Blackrock College, wildly celebrated the victory in their blue and white scarves.
In the parade ring the syndicate lifted the horse's trainer O'Brien into the air in crazy scenes at an otherwise quiet meeting.
O'Brien said after the race to Irish Racing: “I’m delighted for all the lads. It’s the first horse I’ve had for them and I think it’s the first horse they’ve had.
"Hopefully they will have plenty of fun with him.”
