Dolphins fans have heard quite a bit about Josh Rosen over the last 72 hours. And while the Dolphins are taking a sensible approach to introducing Rosen to their locker room — they plan on having him duke it out with Ryan Fitzpatrick to see who starts — there’s both optimism and skepticism surrounding Rosen’s addition.
With local media split on the move, it will be up to fans to decide for themselves on whether or not they support Rosen’s bid to take the mantle of franchise quarterback in South Florida. Of course there will be no finality to that question until the Dolphins take the field and Rosen is able to show what he’s got in 2019.
But in the meantime, Rosen’s 2018 season presents a chance to set baseline impressions. And while Rosen struggled at times and was surrounded by one of the more underwhelming supporting casts in all of football, he had some impressive flashed throughout his 14 games played.
