It was a successful evening for Jose Mourinho and Spurs as they came away 2-1 winners against Arsenal in the north London derby on Sunday.
Goals from Son Heung-min and Alexandre Lacazette saw Tottenham turn the game on its head and cancel out Alexandre Lacazette’s 16th-minute opener.
It meant that Tottenham bounced back from a disappointing result and performance against Bournemouth during the week.
And it also meant that Mourinho was in a much better mood during his post-match press conference.
You may remember, that after the match against the Cherries, Mourinho walked out of the virtual presser after not being able to hear football.london ’s own Alasdair Gold.
But, it seemed that the technology was fixed and working this time around.
During the presser following the win over Arsenal, Gold asked Mourinho about his tactical decisions for the match.
“Can I just ask you, you set up the team in a different way today with Lucas wider and Sissoko out wide as well. Can you talk us through that, obviously it did its job, and why you did it?” Gold asked.
Then came Mourinho’s response: “How much you paying for the class?” he asked with a smile on his face.
“Amazon are the lucky guys.”
The win certainly did wonders for the manager’s mood post-match and fans will be hoping that he continues to be in the same mood in the rest of the post-match pressers this season.
