Watch: Jordan Fuller was mic’d up in practice and didn’t even know it

Jordan Fuller is taking on more of a leadership role this season, stepping up as the defensive signal caller in training camp – a job John Johnson had last season. The 2020 sixth-round pick has far and away exceeded any expectations he came into the NFL with, shining as a key contributor last year.

It’s not hard to see why the Rams like him so much after watching him go through practice while wearing a mic – a mic he had no idea the team put on him. He’s a natural leader and a playmaker in the secondary, and he’s expected to be one of the most important players on defense this season.

After the Rams shared the video on Twitter, he tweeted that he didn’t even know he was mic’d.

It remains to be seen if Fuller will continue as the Rams’ signal caller when the season begins, but there’s no reason to believe he can’t handle it.
