Watch: Jordan Fuller takes you behind the scenes of his ankle rehab

Jordan Fuller wasted no time becoming a leader in the Rams’ locker room, being voted a team captain in just his second season. A former sixth-round pick, Fuller has far outplayed his draft position and become an integral part of the defense.

Unfortunately, he wasn’t on the field when the Rams beat the Bengals in Super Bowl after suffering an ankle injury in Week 18, causing him to miss the entire postseason. He underwent surgery to repair the injury this offseason and while he’s on track with his rehab, it hasn’t been the easiest path.

On the latest episode of “Behind the Grind,” Fuller took viewers behind the scenes of the work he’s put in this offseason.

“During this time, a day in the life is getting up around 6, getting to the facility and knocking out some rehab, then going to meetings, some more rehab, then I work out, maybe a little more rehab,” he said.

Fuller isn’t taking this process lightly. He’s putting everything he can into it, estimating that he’s at the facility “maybe 2, 3 hours more than everybody else.” Even Taylor Rapp asked how Fuller does it, asking if he gets worn down.

“I feel like I am, but I’m just like, I got no choice, I gotta go,” he said.

Fuller is expected to be back for the regular season, but it remains to be seen how much he’ll do when training camp opens later this month.
