WATCH: Jonah Jackson reacts to being selected in the 2020 NFL Draft

Some of my favorite videos that surface after and during the NFL draft are the reactions from players that are realizing their dreams. Nothing melts a muscle-bound male athlete more than getting the call of a lifetime.

And so it was for now-former Ohio State tackle Jonah Jackson. He came to Columbus from Rutgers as a graduate transfer to gain more exposure and coaching, with the thought of getting to the next level.

Mission accomplished.

Jackson was taken by the Detroit Lions in the 3rd round of the 2020 NFL Draft, and he’ll now get to realize a childhood dream as a first-half of the draft prospect. He’ll have every opportunity to become an every-game starter at the sports’ highest level.

The official Twitter profile of Ohio State football shared he and his family’s reaction when NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell announced his name, and it’s worth the watch.

Click on the below and enjoy. You might want to turn down the sound to compensate for the abrupt screams of joy.

Jackson’s rise from a modest three-star recruit to All-Big Ten selection, to NFL draft pick, is one of those stories that are hard to rival. Congrats are definitely in order.
