It’s not the most popular opinion, but give credit to FOX’s Joel Klatt for making a bold claim and backing it up. After last weekend’s games, he set out a tweet mentioning Ohio State as one three teams as the best in the country. He couldn’t separate between the Buckeyes, Alabama and Clemson, so he grouped them all in together as 1A, 1B, and 1C.
But now, he’s going further and wants a mulligan on that Tweet apparently. While appearing on BTN, Klatt was asked to explain the rationale behind not being able to separate those three teams and expounded on the thought, saying he shouldn’t have chickened out and just made Ohio State his top team.
It’s a fun exchange between he and Dave Revsine but he uses the Buckeyes’ balance and explosiveness as the main reason why OSU has looked the best of any team in 2019.
