Celtic have been linked with more managers than we can count since the departure of Neil Lennon last month, but few are as exciting as Red Bull Salzburg's Jesse Marsch.
The American has done the rounds under the Red Bull umbrella, coaching at New York Red Bulls, RB Leipzig and now Salzburg.
Now in charge of the Austrian side, he has taken them to another level and has the best points-per-game average in the history of the Austrian Bundesliga.
But he has also impressed in Europe and his side made their presence felt at Anfield last season.
They eventually lost 4-3 to Liverpool, but they certainly gave Jurgen Klopp's team - one of the best in the world at the time - something to think about.
3-0 down after 36 minutes, they came back to level things up on the hour mark, with Erling Haaland netting a wildly celebrated equaliser.
And it was largely put down to an inspiring team-talk by their highly-rated manager.
In a team-talk that fluidly switched between German and English, Marsch is heard saying: "They have to feel us guys. They have to know we're f*****g here to compete.
"Not just that we're gonna stylistically try and play the same way, but we're here to f*****g play.
"We're gonna talk a little bit about tactics, but we've got to step out onto that field and (fight)."
Marsch remains an outsider in the betting for the Celtic job but his odds have been slashed to 9/2 in some places after he admitted it was an 'honour' to be linked with the post.
The likes of Chris Wilder, Roy Keane and John Kennedy are tipped as more likely appointments but Marsch said: "I've heard (about the links). It's an honour for me.
"Three or four years ago, being linked with a club like Celtic would literally be an impossibility for me. And now that this is where I am, I always just try to look at it in terms of, 'what would the project look like?'
"I know enough about it to say of course it's interesting.
"It's an amazing club and it would be an honour to even be considered. But I also have a job to do here."
