Watch Jeremie Frimpong show Celtic delight despite red card in Betfred Cup win

Celtic defender Jeremie Frimpong was left thrilled after his red card against Rangers didn't cost his team.

The right back was shown a straight red card after he fouled Alfredo Morelos to give the Ibrox side a chance to get back into the game.

But the Colombian was foiled by Fraser Forster and Frimpong was able to celebrate in the end as he got the first medal of his career.

And he took to Instagram to share his delight in the aftermath and was clearly loving life as he celebrated the win.

He yelled: "Oh my days" before launching into further celebration.

He captioned the video with the words: "Wow what a feeling beating Rangers in the final."

The 18-year-old has impressed since moving to Glasgow from Manchester City in the summer.

He was arguably Celtic's best outfield player before his sending off and will have been thrilled that his error didn't cost the Hoops the trophy.
