Watch: Jennifer Aniston shares NI singer's remake of FRIENDS song to millions of followers

Friends actress Jennifer Aniston has shared a Northern Ireland singer's remake of the Friends theme tune - The Rembrandts' song 'I'll Be There For You' - to her 32 million followers on Instagram.

The remake was created by Magherafelt singer-songwriter JC Stewart, and was inspired by how people are coping on lockdown.

Featuring clips of Stewart stuck indoors, the artist gives an update to the lyrics to represent the monotony of being stuck in doors, singing:

"So no one told you life was gonna be this way, Your job's a joke, you're broke, your lovelife's DOA,/It looks like we'll be inside for a year,/Or might only be a day, a week, a month, it's really not clear."

The song proved popular with JC Stewart's fans, but even he couldn't predict that it would be picked up by one of the show's leading actresses.

Reacting to the news that his song had been shared on Aniston's Instagram account, JC Stewart said: "So. Jennifer Anniston put me on her Instagram story. It is at this point that I would like to announce my retirement due to having peaked so unbelievably hard."
