Boston Celtics star shooting guard Jaylen Brown came into the NBA with the Cleveland Cavaliers being one of the NBA’s most elite teams under the leadership of superstar LeBron James, and the Celtics still managed to steal a win from the Cavs.
That would be in no small part due to the efforts of the Cal-Berkeley product, who has scored at least 19 points once per season on the Cavaliers, and even hung 34 points on Cleveland back in December of this season.
While a much weaker team without James, their Eastern Conference Rivals have become something of a punching bag for Boston over the last two seasons, perhaps taking out some of the frustration of coming to within a game of the NBA Finals against LeBron’s 2018 squad.
