NEW DELHI: Jaydev Unadkat's unwavering attitude earned him a spot in an ODI after a gap of 10 years. Despite his last appearance in an ODI coming way back in 2013, when he was just 21, he never lost hope and was included in the eleven for the third and final ODI against West Indies in Trinidad.
The 31-year-old Saurashtra pacer registered figures of 1/16 in 5 overs as India won the match by 200 runs and won the series 2-1.
In celebration of this remarkable achievement, the BCCI shared a funny video of Unadkat, putting his memory to the test about the 2013 ODI. Unadkat played his 2013 ODI against the West Indies, under Mahendra Singh Dhoni's captaincy.
