WATCH: Jay-Z, Diddy sing happy birthday to Giants’ Saquon Barkley

One of the benefits of signing with Roc Nation Sports Agency and being a star player like New York Giants running back Saquon Barkley is that he can have two of the biggest names in music sing to him on his birthday.

Barkley celebrated his 22nd birthday on February 9, and did so with the likes of rapper and Roc Nation founder Jay-Z, and music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs.

The AP Offensive Rookie of the Year partied with the pair of stars at a pre-Grammy’s brunch thrown by the entertainment company that was founded by Jay-Z back in 2008.

Barkley signed with Roc Nation before being selected with the No. 2 overall pick the 2018 NFL Draft. Jay-Z & Co. could not have drawn up the Penn State product’s first season any better than what unfolded out on the field with Big Blue.

Barkley became a superstar for the Giants in 2018, totaling 2,028 yards from scrimmage and 15 touchdowns. To make his rookie campaign more impressive, Barkley posted his insane numbers behind one of the worst offensive lines in the NFL.

Fans can argue about the Giants’ decision-making in taking a running back over a quarterback until they’re blue in the face, but there’s no argument about whether or not Barkley is as good as advertised.

Not only did Barkley grab every rookie honor imaginable and take the football world by storm, he now has some of the most powerful people on the planet singing to him for his birthday. It doesn’t get more productive than that.
