Carmen’s Crew is off to the next round of games in The Basketball Tournament thanks to a relatively easy win Sunday over the Dayton Flyer’s alumni team, Red Scare.
Former Ohio State big man Jared Sullinger played with the OSU alumi team last year, but he’s been relegated to coaching this time around, and doing a pretty decent job. Word is he’ll also accompany the team when it heads to Chicago as well.
He’s still part of the team though, and likely the unquestioned leader even though he’s not on the court. And we’re sure the team supported what he did after the team advanced themselves on the bracket to win the Columbus region.
Watch as Sullinger crosses out all the M’s in Carmen’s Crew name on the bracket from the opening round through the regional championship advancement. That of course goes hand in hand with what the logo and jersey of Carmen’s Crew shows as well.
