Jared Goff isn’t a dual-threat quarterback, but he showed off his limited mobility Sunday against the Falcons. After being stuffed on a second-down quarterback sneak, Goff rolled out to his left on a play-action pass on third down.
Rather than letting the throw go, he put on the brakes and let Deion Jones run right by him. Goff cut upfield and waltzed into the end zone for six, putting the Rams up 27-3.
It was Goff’s third touchdown of the day and his first on the ground. On the previous drive, he found Gerald Everett for an 8-yard touchdown, and in the first half, it was Todd Gurley on the receiving end of Goff’s first touchdown pass.
