Godley regularly leaves fans in stitches with her comedic takes and voiceovers, including from Nicola Sturgeon's daily coronavirus briefings.

Now, the comedian has aimed her with at Prime Minister Boris Johnson as he arrived in Orkney.

Johnson is on a visit to Scotland, announcing funding for island communities and thanking key workers for their response to the coronavirus crisis.

In her voiceover, Janey parodies Boris asking if there is "anywhere more isolated" as he left out Glasgow and other Scots cities from his itinerary.

Scottish politicians and other public figures are used to the Janey Godley treatment in her voiceovers.

Nicola Sturgeon has praised how the comedian has used humour to get key public health messages across during the pandemic, as well as giving folk a much needed laugh.

As Boris arrived, Janey said on Twitter: "Can’t believe Boris isn’t coming to Glasgow but he is staying safe in the rural, North and heavily forested areas of Scotland. Good place to hide from the majority of the population of Scotland ya big scared s***** bag!"

In a previous voiceover of Nicola Sturgeon's as she announced changes to lockdown rules, Janey declared Scots could "Get back on with the pumpin."

Parodying Nicola Sturgeon she said: “Just a wee update for everybody going into phase two - this is gonnae be very important.

“Ye need tae make sure that ye wash yer hands.

"Look am just gonnae say it as best as I kin.
