Can you believe it? Tom Brady almost had to eat a strawberry.
On Monday the Patriots quarterback tweeted that he would eat the forbidden fruit live on Instagram if James Holzhauer, the Las Vegas sports gambler who’s been on a tear as Jeopardy contestant, lost on Monday’s episode.
Brady is on the record saying he’s never had a strawberry in his life and that they don’t fit into his strict-is-an-understatement TB12 diet. So this would have been major.
Alas, James Holzhauer won Jeopardy yet again on Monday, adding $89,229 to his total winnings of $1.7 million. Holzhauer keeps schooling and Tom Brady keeps dodging strawberries. Phew.
