Jalen Ramsey is coming off what he would consider his best season in the NFL, earning Pro Bowl and All-Pro selections in his first full year with the Rams. He once again established himself as arguably the top cornerback in football, locking down players such as DK Metcalf, Mike Evans, DeAndre Hopkins and Allen Robinson.
He became as good as he is with hard work and though it’s still early in the offseason, Ramsey is already putting in the work. Defensive backs trainer Oliver Davis II shared a video of Ramsey working on his press technique and mirroring receivers off the snap.
To the surprise of no one, Ramsey showed great footwork and never missed a step, always getting in front of the route-runner to prevent his release off the line.

Ramsey will have his hands full once again in 2021 based on the Rams’ upcoming opponents, having to face Metcalf and Hopkins twice, while also needing to cover Mike Evans, likely Chris Godwin, A.J. Brown, Justin Jefferson and Davante Adams.
So he’ll need to be at his best again next season if the Rams defense is going to rank first against the pass for the second straight year.
