Jalen Ramsey runs and covers like a corner, but he hits like a safety or linebacker. It’s what makes him such a great defender for the Rams, and it’s why they were comfortable giving him $105 million – among other reasons.
He showed off his tackling ability on a big third down in Bears territory, colliding with Javon Wims along the sideline as the wideout made a mad dash for the first-down marker.
It was initially ruled a first down, but Sean McVay challenged the play and it was reversed, putting the Bears in fourth-and-inches from their own 19-yard line.
