Watch: Jags’ Joshua Dobbs watches historic SpaceX launch

While most of the Jacksonville Jaguars’ roster hasn’t been able to attend the team’s facility, quarterback Joshua Dobbs has still found a way to be a busy man and utilize his time away from football productively. He recently completed an NFLPA externship that allowed him to work with NASA and is a certified rocket scientist.

This week, he got to witness the historic Space X launch from Kennedy Space Center at Cape Canaveral, the first from the United States in almost a decade. Of course, as many have seen on the national news everything went well and was a success.

This upcoming season will mark Dobb’s second with the Jags after he was traded to them by the Pittsburgh Steelers. He’ll be in a contract year with the Jags in 2020, so it will be crucial for him to have a strong offseason to stick around. Even if he doesn’t, it’s clear the future is bright for him as things certainly look to be pointing upwards for his career after football.
