WATCH: Jabari Parker scores 18 points, 7 rebounds vs. New York Knicks (5/16)

Boston Celtics two way point guard Tremont Waters wasn’t the only player on the team’s roster scoring new high scores with the franchise on Sunday’s season-end finale against the New York Knicks, and while it might not have been enough to stop the Celtics from losing the contest 96 – 92, a big game off the bench from reserve forward Jabari Parker nearly helped Boston steal the win.

Parker put up 18 points to lead the Celtics in scoring along with 7 rebounds and 2 assists with 0 turnovers and 3 personal fouls in 27 minutes of play, shooting a very solid 6-of-10 from the field and 5-of-6 from the line, even hitting 1 of his 3 attempts from beyond the arc.

With an unguaranteed deal next season, the Duke product’s future is not set in stone to remain with the team beyond these upcoming postseason contests.

But a game like this certainly doesn’t hurt his prospects — watch the highlight clip embedded above produced by Tomasz Kordylewski to see the best moments from Sunday of his play captured on video.
