Houston Texans defensive end and Wisconsin native J.J. Watt is soaking up the experience at Lambeau Field before Thursday night preseason opener against the Green Bay Packers.
Watt, who grew up in Pewaukee and later starred with the Wisconsin Badgers, played catch with fans all around Lambeau Field during pre-game warmups.

Watt and the Texans were in Green Bay earlier this week for a pair of joint practices. He participated in the tradition of riding bikes from Lambeau Field to the practice fields across the street.
Watt exited Monday’s practice with a groin injury and didn’t practice Tuesday. It’s unclear if he will play during Thursday night’s preseason opener.
