WATCH: Is Boston Celtics star forward Jayson Tatum really a selfish player?

Boston Celtics star forward Jayson Tatum reads articles about the NBA just like the rest of us, and that means that he sees the criticism of his game in the press. Like a professional should, he rarely tips his hand regarding what he’s been reading and how it makes him feel, but a recent ESPN report by Tim Bontemps clearly irked the St. Louis native.

That report featured anonymous NBA insiders ranging from scouts to executives, with one such source suggesting Tatum was a selfish player. The Duke product made a point of mentioning it and rebutting it in a recent postgame media availability session, noting how he has often been deferring to his teammates recently when his shot is off.

The hosts of the CLNS Media podcast “The Garden Report” recently dove into the report, and debated whether there was — and more importantly, is — any truth to such a characterization.

Watch the clip embedded above to get their takes on just how sharing of a star Jayson Tatum has been so far this season.
