Today, October 9, is the full release date for FIFA 21. Fans across Ireland and the world have been dying to get their hands on it.
And David Meyler was no exception.
The former pro turned gamer was live streaming to fans as he played the latest edition of the football game and, when building his new FIFA Ultimate Team, managed to pack one of the most sought after players in the game.
One player who is regarded as the greatest of all time slowly revealed himself on David's screen. The one and only Lionel Messi.
And Meyler was ecstatic, assuring fans watching that he "clipped" the moment Messi was revealed so he could share it with his 200,000 followers on Twitter.
FIFA Ultimate Team is a card based game where players attempt to build a team full of the best players in the world by trading them on a transfer market or acquiring them in Bronze, Silver or Gold 'packs'.
The players can then use their team to compete against other online players or to practice against the computer.
