Watch: Irish comedian drops hilarious 'Indie cover' of Eamon Dunphy's infamous Roy Keane/Rod Liddle rant

Irish comedian Michael Fry has knocked it out of the park once again after dropping an unbelievable cover of Eamon Dunphy's famous Rod Liddle/Roy Keane rant.

The funny-man  has shot to worldwide fame in recent months as he started making up remixes to viral Irish and UK moments.

Among those were Tony McGregor's 'coinage' moment, Nadine Coyle's infamous age scandal on You're A Star, Former TD Paul Gogarty's 'F**k You Deputy Stagg' outburst, and the Hanforth Parish Council's hilarious Zoom meeting mishap.

Since making those Fry, who's also the world's best Aidan Gillen impersonator, had been bombarded with requests - and one he regularly got was Eamon Dunphy's 'Rod Liddle' moment.

In the video Michael becomes a one man Indie band, hilariously singing about the infamous incident in which Eamon Dunphy defends 'class act' Roy Keane on live television.

The age-old RTE rant came in 2005 shortly after Roy Keane walked out of Manchester United.

Speaking about Keane, Dunphy described him as a "gentleman, a class act, a rebel" and added that he "stands up to bullies".

The soccer panel then reference an article criticising the midfielder that was written by journalist Rod Liddle in the Sunday Times - and viewers were left gobsmacked after Eamon passionately rubbished the piece and described Liddle as "the guy who ran away and left his wife for a young one".

Dunphy later apologised to the journalist and, while other may not have, the English writer took it all in good spirit.

History has looked back on the moment with a lot of snigger, and 16 years later it still gets joked about quite a lot.

Now Fry has delighted fans with a seriously creative spin on it.
