Ireland's Gavin Bazunu pulled off a sensational save against Luxembourg tonight in the World Cup qualifiers.
The 19-year-old was almost caught off his line during the first half of the Aviva Stadium clash, but managed to recover to deny the visitors an opening goal.
Ireland were caught on the back-foot as Luxembourg launched a counter-attack with Gerson Rodrigues attempting to lob it over the Man City starlet.
But as the ball looped towards the net, Bazunu managed to palm it away as he went crashing into the net in a heart-stopping moment.
Bazunu earned his first cap tonight as he steps in between the sticks after Mark Travers endured a testing night in Ireland's 3-2 loss to Serbia on Wednesday.
And with number one Darren Randolph as well as Caoimhin Kelleher ruled out through injury, the former Shamrock Rovers man got the nod.
Ahead of the game, manager Stephen Kenny said: "It's important that we win the game. We want to win the game.
“‘Must-win’. What is that? Is it an adjective? What does must-win mean?
“We want to do well and we're going to be very determined to try and win the game, that’s our objective.
“The players' attitude is exceptional and we played very well the other day. We were disappointed to lose.
“We want to win the game against Luxembourg and we’ll try everything we can. All the players will give everything of themselves to win the game.”
