Katie McCabe was ambushed in her post-match interview by her partner Ruesha Littlejohn as the midfielder suggested her ma selected her as player of the match.
McCabe scored twice and set up three goals as Ireland posted a record 11-0 win over Georgia to move second in their qualifying group for the 2023 World Cup.
The Arsenal winger led by example as she ushered the Girls in Green to a massive win that puts them right back in contention for a place at the finals in Australia and New Zealand.
That wasn't quite enough for Aston Villa midfielder Littlejohn, who laid on the first of Denise O'Sullivan's three goals, as she interrupted the post-match interview with her own thoughts.
"Who's picking these man of the matches?" Littlejohn asked a nonplussed Tony O'Donoghue on RTÉ's live coverage.
"Is it Katie's mum?" the Glasgow native jested before being ushered out of shot by the Kilnamanagh supremo, who continued the interview without a blink.
Dublin Live did not contact Mammy McCabe for comment.
