Ireland AM presenter Alan Hughes destroyed his fringe while cutting his own hair live on air this morning.
It was TV gold as the show's resident hair expert was asked to guide Hughes as he took scissors to his own fringe.
Hairdresser Tori Keane joined Alan and his co-presenter Ciara Doherty on the show via webcam to show viewers how to colour their own hair while lockdown restrictions take place.
The hair guru was then asked by Doherty if she could give some advice for men looking to groom themselves while the barbers are all closed.
Doherty said: "Another big problem for people is when they want to cut their hair they can't go to their usual barbers.
"So Alan wants to know how best to cut his fringe. I know your husband Carl (Alan's husband) did the sides over the weekend.
"A little patch missing here but it's not bad. So what would be your recommendation?"
Guided by Keane, Alan is seen chopping at his fringe leaving nothing but laughter from Doherty who begs him to let her help.
As Keane asked the veteran presenter to "chop upwards" into his fringe, Hughes is seen ignoring all advice and cutting straight across.
As he cuts his hair, Tori screams: "No, no, no, oh good lord.
"I have nothing to do with this."
Hughes pleads with Keane to stay on air to help fix his hair disaster while Ciara Doherty ends the show in laughter.
