The Dublin Fire Brigade today took to their social media pages to warn kitchen staff to be vigilant ahead of the hopeful reopening of bars and restaurants following the latest lockdown.
And the blaze battling heroes posted an insane video of a blaze to highlight the dangers that commercial food staff can face.
The footage, below, shows a deep fat fryer begin to spit flames as two busy kitchen workers go about their work.
Clearly uncertain on what to do once they realise the chip pan is ablaze, one of the unfortunate chefs throws water onto the flames, and the result is predicable but spectacular.
Dublin's fire fighting experts wrote: "Hopefully commercial kitchens will be busy again soon.
"Is now the right time to inspect and service your active fire systems and refresh your team on fire safety?"
It’s not known where the footage emerged, with the DFB saying they didn’t think it had happened in Ireland.
Responding to one DFB twitter follower’s query, they wrote: "I don’t know the source of the video. I don’t think it's Irish.
"I think it’s safe to say that their eyebrows may have been lost."
