WATCH: Indy 500 champion Will Power races big wheels

IndyCar Series driver Will Power added the Indianapolis 500 to his list of racing achievements in 2018, securing his place in Indianapolis Motor Speedway history.

Plenty of IndyCar drivers say they’d rather with the iconic but elusive Indy 500 over winning the series championship, and Power is hoping to defending his 500 title Sunday in the 103rd running of the race.

Still looking for his first checkered flag of the 2019 season, the Team Penske driver of the No. 12 Chevrolet is sitting sixth in the IndyCar standings going into this weekend. He qualified sixth for the Indy 500 last weekend and will start on the outside of the second row.

The Indy 500 is not just the biggest IndyCar race on the schedule. It’s one of the most celebrated motor sports events in the world.

So we thought we’d help Power prepare to defend his Indy 500 win at the Brickyard this weekend and become the first driver to win back-to-back races since Hélio Castroneves did it in 2001 and 2002.
