India's tour of South Africa commences with a three-match T20I series beginning December 10, and Cricket South Africa released a countdown video on its social media platforms on Thursday.

Inspired by the contributions of freedom fighters from the two countries, Mahatma Gandhi and Nelson Mandela, the tour is named as the 'Freedom Series'.

The T20I series will be followed by a three-match ODI series, after which the tour will move to its red-ball leg that will see the two teams competing in a series of two Test matches.

India will be led by Suryakumar Yadav in T20Is, KL Rahul in ODIs and Rohit Sharma in Tests.
