Aaron Donald has faced the Steelers once before in his career, but Sunday’s game will come with some extra meaning. This will be his first time playing in his hometown of Pittsburgh as an NFL player.
He grew up in the Steel City, played his college football at Pittsburgh and spends time there during the offseason. So when he takes the field against the Steelers on Sunday, it’ll be a special moment for him and his family.
The Rams released a hype video for Donald’s return to Pittsburgh and it’s sure to give you the chills.
Donald is understandably excited to be playing at Heinz Field in his hometown this weekend.
“To be back trying to play the Pittsburgh Steelers, a team I grew up watching and cheering for and playing at a field I played at in college is definitely going to be cool,” he said, via CBS Sports.
Kickoff between the Rams and Steelers is set for 4:25 p.m. ET on FOX.
