WATCH: How well did new team president Brad Stevens equip the 2021-22 Boston Celtics?

The Boston Celtics are close to done making moves in their 2021 NBA offseason, with just one player to cut to get to the league maximum roster size of 15 regular contracts and two two way players.

With new President of Basketball Operations Brad Stevens having transformed a cap-crunched team with a thin bench and few tradeable contracts into the literal opposite, the Celtics have had one of the sneakier good offseasons in the league. But Boston fans know all too well that teams that look good on paper do not always play that way on the court.

To that end, hosts of the CLNS Media podcast “Celtics Beat” debate how well Stevens has prepared the team for the 2021-22 NBA season with Boston Globe beat writer Gary Washburn on a recent episode of the pod.

Watch or listen to the clip embedded above to get their takes on what to expect from the Celtics reshuffling the roster this offseason.
