Danny Green had an abysmal time from beyond the arc during the Eastern Conference Finals, hitting only 15 percent of his shots from three over six games against the Bucks.
But his luck has turned around for the Raptors in the NBA Finals, notably hitting six of 10 attempts Wednesday night in Oakland in Game 3 against the Warriors.
The catalyst? Shooting advice from someone we all remember as a great outside shooter, Shaquille O’Neal.
The former NBA star, who was on site for TV duties, talked with Green during warmups and told him to just “leave it,” referring to holding his follow-through and be confident in his shot — something Shaq picked up from great shooters he played with and against.
