NEW DELHI: Legendary Australian cricketer Glenn McGrath, in a daring act, got rid of three carpet pythons that had intruded his house.

The former Australian in a social media post shared how heroically he got rid of the snakes, showing no signs of panic.

With a broom and a lot of courage, McGrath managed to get the snakes out of the house and released them back into the wild.

"After plenty of encouragement & support from @saraleonmcgrath all 3 Coastal Carpet Pythons that were in the house were safely released back into the bush," McGrath wrote alongside the video.

McGrath represented Australia in 124 Tests and 250 ODIs, finishing as the most successful pacer.

In the Tests, McGrath finished (563 wickets) second behind spin icon Shane Warne while in the one-dayers he had 381 wickets to his name.
