Watch: Highlights of new Lions WR Jermaine Kearse

The Detroit Lions signed former Seahawks and Jets wide receiver Jermaine Kearse to a one-year deal on Thursday morning. He wasn’t the biggest name on the free agent market, but Kearse makes a lot of sense for the Lions since he has experience in new offensive coordinator Darrel Bevell’s system.

Kearse’s numbers aren’t exactly Hall of Fame worthy, but as I’ll show you today, he’s had plenty of big moments, including this iconic Super Bowl catch against the Patriots.

The Lions added WR Danny Amendola and TE T.J. Hockenson the offseason, plus Kenny Golladay and Marvin Jones are back in action. Kearse won’t have to do much, but if he can help the team grasp Bevell’s system, his presence is invaluable.
