The Jets addressed the edge by taking Florida defensive end Jabari Zuniga in the third round on Friday night.
Zuniga is a large defensive end at 6-foot-3, 264 pounds. However, he ran a 4.64-second 40-yard dash at the NFL combine and also had 29 bench reps at 225 pounds. Zuniga dealt with ankle injuries in his senior season and only had three sacks. The year before, Zuniga had 6.5 sacks. In his entire career at Florida, Zuniga had 116 total tackles (33 for loss) and 18.5 sacks.
