The New York Jets addressed the cornerback position with Virginia’s Bryce Hall in the fifth round.
Hall’s draft stock fell dramatically after he sustained an ankle injury in his senior year that limited him to just six games. However, Hall has good size and length at 6-foot-1, 201 pounds. He also played wide receiver in high school; he has big hands. Hall had an outstanding junior season at Virginia, recording 21 pass breakups and two interceptions. In his four years at Virginia, Hall had 154 total tackles, four sacks, five interceptions and 38 pass breakups.
