The Kansas City Chiefs selected Louisiana Tech DB L’Jarius Sneed at pick No. 138 in the fourth round of the 2020 NFL Draft.
Sneed is a speedy and versatile defensive back prospect. While he played safety in the 2019 college football season, he previously played the cornerback spot. That’s where he’ll be playing with the Chiefs according to head coach Andy Reid. That was good news for Sneed too, who claims to like playing the cornerback position better than playing safety. The safety position did help him better learn the mental side of the game, but cornerback is his natural fit.
