The highlight reel for the Los Angeles Rams this preseason has primarily featured backups because of Sean McVay’s decision to rest his starters. That doesn’t mean there hasn’t been a number of plays worth watching a few times, however.
On Thursday night against the Texans, John Wolford provided us with some moments that were truly impressive. He threw two touchdown passes that were on the money when they had to be, and nearly had another one after eluding pressure.

Wolford and Justin Davis were the stars of the game on offense, as was KhaDarel Hodge. On defense, Ogbonnia Okoronkwo had two sacks and two tackles for loss, showing up once again at OLB.
With Week 1 just over a week away, it’s hard not to get excited about the regular season. It’ll be fun to watch Jared Goff and Todd Gurley, among other starters, on the field for the first time since Super Bowl LIII.
