They may not be able to attend their club’s first ever visit to Wembley Stadium but that hasn’t stopped Hebburn Town Juniors sending good luck messages to the club’s players ahead of Monday’s FA Vase Final.
The Hornets are concluding their preparations for a historic visit to the home of football as they battle with North East rivals Consett to become the tenth club from the region to lift one of non-league’s major national competitions.
Kevin Bolam’s side are preparing for a big month and could secure a quickfire return to Wembley as their participation in the 2020/21 FA Vase continues with next Saturday’s quarter-final tie at Warrington Rylands.
But all of the focus is on Monday’s maiden trip to the national stadium and Hebburn will depart from South Tyneside with the well wishes of their young supporters ringing in their ears.
