Watch heartwarming moment Dublin boy, 9, bursts into tears after being told he will be a big brother

This is the heartwarming moment a 9-year-old Irish boy burst into tears after he was told he will be a big brother.

Brogan, from Lucan, Dublin, was visibly excited after receiving the good news from his parents.

At Christmas, Brogan asked Santa Clause for a baby brother and, although it was a little late, Santa didn't disappoint.

In the video, Brogan's dad David asked him to open a box and read a card inside.

Excited, Brogan begins to read the card before the expression on his face changes.

He reads: "Dear Brogan, congratulations on being my big brother."

The child is shocked and looks at his father before bursting into tears of happiness.

David then asked his son to open another present.

Brogan revealed a t-shirt that read "You're going to be a big brother".

David hops up to embrace Brogan and tells him there's a new baby coming to the family in October.

Congratulations to David, his fiancee Bernie and of course Brogan.
