This heart-stopping footage shows a car narrowley missing a young girl after she fell from her pushchair into a busy road.
The driver who captured the footage on a dashcam was left 'cut up' following the incident.
Footage shows the motortist, who wishes to remain anonymous, passing under a rail bridge at 1.30pm on July 1, before two pushchairs come into view.
One mother goes to cross the road with her young daughter and pushes her pram off the pavement.
The toddler, who does not appear to be strapped into her chair, falls forward onto road as the pushchair hits the curb on the A6 near Matlock, Derbyshire.
The quick-thinking driver swerves and miraculously manages to miss the girl by a matter of inches.
He said he then pulled up at the side of the road to make sure everybody was ok. Astonishingly, no one was hurt in the incident.
He has since shared the shocking video online in a bid to encourage other parents to strap their children into their pushchairs.
His daughter, who also wishes to remain anonymous, told DerbyshireLive: "It was such a shock to his system, my dad was absolutely cut up about it.
"He was driving under the speed limit as we all know what Matlock is like when the sun is shining.
"He was just coming under the bridge to go around the corner, saw the first pushchair and then the second one, but as you can see it looked like she was just going to walk straight down.
"So my dad slowed down as you would if you saw a mother and her child about to walk straight in front of your car.
"Luckily as the baby fell out, my dad swerved out of the way and pulled up to the side to check everybody was ok.
"A grown man crying over a situation that could have been far worse if he was going just a little bit faster and wasn't watching everything around him."
