President of the Maine Celtics (formerly the Maine Red Claws of Portland) Dajuan Eubanks recently sat down with the Portland Press Herald to talk about the career path that led him to become the head of the Boston Celtics G League affiliate.
A graduate of Texas’ Rice University, where Eubanks played collegiately, the Maine Celtics head honcho leaned on his B.A. in business management instead of his on-court skills after graduating, joining the then-Red Claws’ as vice president of corporate partnership. Advancing with and growing with the organization since its earliest days as a G League franchise, Eubanks runs the organization on behalf of the parent club, its current owners.
