Watch: Georgia’s Mecole Hardman Jr. hauls in bomb from Patrick Mahomes

Former Georgia Bulldogs WR Mecole Hardman Jr. is going to be a big-time deep threat for the Kansas City Chiefs. Tyreek Hill is not expected to be suspended this season, which means Hardman and Hill will be a nightmare for opposing secondaries. Hill is one of the most polished deep receivers in the NFL and Hardman ran one of the fastest forty yard dashes at the NFL Combine.

Pair that combination with elite Chiefs’ QB Patrick Mahomes and you have a deadly duo. Travis Kelce and Sammy Watkins are also among the top weapons for Kansas City. Here’s the training camp play where Mahomes connected with Hardman for a bomb:

Mahomes tricked the linebacker with a nasty pump fake and then hit Hardman in stride with an accurate deep ball. This offense is going to be fun to watch, folks. Mecole will be the Dawgs’ most intriguing rookie in 2019.

The question for the Chiefs in 2019 will be can they stop anybody? The answer in the AFC Championship Game last season was no. The Chiefs have undergone a lot of changes on the defensive side of the ball, including the loss of Georgia great OLB Justin Houston, and will look to compliment their deadly offense.
