Watch: Georgia baseball’s Cam Shepherd hits walk-off homer in SEC Tournament

The Georgia baseball team defeated the Texas A&M Aggies 2-0 on a walk-off home run Wednesday in the second round of the SEC Tournament.

Cam Shepherd, who made a stellar play at shortstop earlier in the game was the hero, sending Georgia to the third round with two lives remaining.

Since the Bulldogs earned a Top 4 seed for the tournament, they received a bye for the first round and automatically picked up two lives in the double elimination rounds.

Georgia will play the winner of the Arkansas-Ole Miss game on Thursday at 4:30 pm in Hoover.

If the Diamond Dawgs win, they advance to the single elimination semifinal round on Saturday. However, a loss would put Georgia in an elimination game Friday.
