WATCH Genius t-shirt Covid cert hack that helps you sail into Dublin pubs

A Dublin dentist has come up with a genius t-shirt hack that helps people to sail into pubs.

His t-shirts are printed with the Covid passport QR codes and can be scanned at the entrance of bars.

The clever trick makes accessing indoor dining a little bit easier as Dubliners enjoy the long-awaited return to some sort of normality.

Leonardo Guerrero is orginally from Venezuela but has been living in Dublin for the last 7 years.

He has already tried out his innovative idea in Pantibar and in his local in Smithfield, with positive results.

He told Dublin Live that the t-shirt makes his life handier as he is always losing his phone.

"I always lose my phone so now that we need it to go the pub I thought it would be really handy to have it [the QR code] on a t-shirt, a keychain or even on a mask."

The clever hack also speeds up the scanning process leaving more time for enjoying drinks with friends.

Leonardo said : "It's just a way to be practical- using your phone takes up a little bit of time."

The entrepreneur has already made four t-shirts with QR codes printed on them and is looking forward to the future.

"I'm an entrepreneur now, I'm making my own brand."

Lockdown boredom helped Leonardo to discover his love of creating clothing.

He is now busy teaching younger generations how to tie-dye clothing and sells his clothes online.

He said: "I was at home doing nothing, so I started to make tie-ye t-shirts and then I bought the machines.

"Now I'm basically tie-dying everything and printing everything."

Like many Dubliners, Leonardo is delighted to see the capital come back to life and is excited for what the future might hold.

"It is one of the most amazing things that will happen this year.

"We came from being in lockdown to hopefully seeing the light at the end of the tunnel again."

Leonardo is selling his t-shirts and other creations on his Instagram and on his clothing website.
