Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Gardner Minshew II finished his dominant Week 8 performance against the New York Jets by throwing an eight-yard touchdown to receiver DJ Chark to end his day.
The touchdown to Chark would mark Minshew’s third touchdown on the day:
The Jaguars’ passing offense has been absolutely incendiary with 278 passing yards on the day. Chark finished the day with six receptions for 79 yards and his touchdown from Minshew.
With the touchdown, the Jaguars were able to seal the victory against the New York Jets by a score of 29-15. Minshew finished Week 8’s game 22-of-34 (64.7 percent) in terms of completions with 279 passing yards and three touchdowns.
That should be good enough to earn him another Rookie of the Week award next Friday as he’ll be looking for sixth of the season.
