Yesterday was a fun day to be a Spartan basketball fan. Sure, Moneyball is a Pro-Am tournament so any results should be taken with a grain of salt. But when Gabe Brown, Thomas Kithier, and Marcus Bingham Jr. put up a combined 146 points in the same day I’m going to take notice.
Gabe Brown put up 59 points, Thomas Kithier scored 38, and Marcus Bingham Jr. had 49. Sure, they were not playing against top talent whatsoever but it’s still good to see these guys showing that they have some unbelievable offensive talent. The next test will be to see if Marcus Bingham Jr. and Gabe Brown can improve on the defensive end.
In East Lansing, if you can’t do that, Tom Izzo will not put you on the floor.
