Huge news for football fans: Rob Gronkowski is coming back to the NFL!
But not as a player. Sorry, guys.
On Tuesday, FOX Sports announced that the retired New England Patriot will be joining its team of NFL analysts starting this week. His first appearance will be on the pregame show for Thursday Night Football.
NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported Tuesday morning that Gronk will also be a regular on FOX’s Sunday pregame show, FOX NFL Sunday.
Gronkowski retired from the NFL in March but said in August he would return to the field if he felt the pull to.
“If I have the desire to play football again, if I feel passionate about football again, if I’m feeling like I need to be out there on the field, I will go back to football,” he told reporters Aug. 27.
